Terms & Conditions — Institute of Natural Medicine

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any program, course, or retreat organized by the Institute of Natural Medicine (INM). By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by the following guidelines and policies.

1. General Conduct

We encourage all participants to arrive with an open heart and mind. Every teacher and facilitator at the Institute of Natural Medicine offers their best guidance for your safety and progress. INM shall not be held responsible for any injury or discomfort arising from not following proper instructions or practicing beyond your capacity.

2. Respect for Space and Property

Our institute is a shared sacred space. Please treat it with care and respect. Participants are responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage of institute property, and may be charged the replacement or repair cost as deemed appropriate.

3. Photography & Media

We occasionally capture photos or videos during classes and events for educational or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, kindly inform the management team in advance or step aside when recording is in progress.

4. Residency Policy

All residential participants are required to stay on the Institute during the program duration. The Institute does not assume responsibility for any events or incidents occurring outside its premises if participants choose to leave without authorization.

5. Personal Belongings

CCTV cameras are installed within the compound for security purposes. However, participants are encouraged to secure their valuables personally. The Institute is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

6. Meals and Lifestyle

We provide wholesome vegetarian meals prepared in alignment with a yogic and natural healing lifestyle. Please note that our menu is simple and nourishing, not a substitute for restaurant-style variety. Additional snacks or personal food items should be arranged independently by participants.

7. Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Alcohol, smoking, and any form of narcotics are strictly prohibited within the institute area. 

8. Accommodation

Our rooms are designed for simplicity, cleanliness, and comfort, reflecting a holistic lifestyle. We do not provide luxury amenities. The focus of your stay should be on personal growth, learning, and well-being.

9. Attendance & Certification

For certification programs, participants must attend all classes and maintain discipline. Repeated absences or failure to follow guidelines may result in disqualification from certification. Exceptions may be considered for genuine health issues, as evaluated by the management.

Reservation & Payment Policy

To confirm your booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total fee is required. The remaining balance must be settled before the course or retreat begins.

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, Western Union, or in cash (USD, EUR, AUD, GBP, or NPR).
• Card payments may include an additional processing fee of 3.75%.
• Participants are responsible for all transaction or transfer fees associated with their payments.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The Institute of Natural Medicine maintains a strict no-refund policy for all bookings, programs, and retreats. Please review the details carefully before confirming your reservation.

• No refunds are provided for cancellations, early departures, or absences during the program.
• Participants may reschedule their course once within a 12-month period, subject to availability and management approval.
• Misconduct, disrespectful behavior, or violation of policies will result in dismissal without refund.
• Programs affected by natural disasters, political unrest, or other uncontrollable events may be postponed — participants can rejoin when conditions normalize, but refunds will not be issued.
• Date changes must be requested at least 30 days prior to program start; last-minute changes are not guaranteed.

Health & Travel Insurance

All participants are strongly advised to have personal health and travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, and belongings. INM is not responsible for any illness, injury, or loss occurring before, during, or after participation.

• Participants should consult a medical professional before joining any program, especially if they have pre-existing conditions.
• If unwell during the program, please inform your instructor or the management immediately.
• Natural remedies or holistic care may be offered when appropriate; however, medical treatment costs are the participant’s responsibility.

Liability Disclaimer

Participation in INM programs is voluntary. By attending, you acknowledge and accept that the Institute shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in activities, use of facilities, or negligence of others.

Amendments

The Institute of Natural Medicine reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by such changes.
